CRYPOK

Product Design

Company

Crypok is a crypto wallet idea designed by a Spanish ingeneer. It's an exchange comparator for cryptos.

Project
Creating the brand for Crypok from scratch and the doing the UX&UI Design for the main app screens.

Target
International market oriented specially to European men around 18-35 years old with a medium-high income level and a good understanding of crypto.

Goal

The goal is to allow the users to see the different prices that the market is offering for each crypto at any second. It also shows relevant information about each currency, related news, link to their website or projects, etc, so the user is easily well informed about the context of each coin so can take better decisions.

Highlights
Price comparison depending on exchange house. Easy to use. Quick payments.

Challenge
Making a project about a subject that I was not familiar with at that time, such as Cryptos.

Branding

This is the result of the branding work I did for Crypok:

The logo

The logo I designed for Crypok plays with the characters of the font created with purely geometric shapes, as with the "C" to which two vertical prominences have been added that remind us of cryptocurrencies, or the " K ”in which the ascending line has been used to create an arrow, very characteristic of the stock market graphs in which it is shown how the market values rise or fall. For the isotype, the conjunction of the main "C" and the "ok" with the "o" embedded in the "C" has been used to make better use of the space and give the pictogram more unity.

Logo combinations

These are some of the combinations I tried using the main two colors of the brand.

Logo versions

These are the versions of the logo over different background colors.

The color palette

I picked an electric blue-purple as the main color, well known in the tech world; a vibrant orange and yellow which reminds us of the excitement and continuous movement of the crypto market; and a darker blue which provides a masculine touch to the brand and that is really convenient at the time to create a "dark mode" in the app which is very common between users of this kind.

Typography

I chose the “Gotham Pro” font-family for its pure and rounded lines and its more “bold” versions, since they give the product a modern and confident touch, and are easy to read.
